The hall is used regularly for wedding receptions, village balls and by a host of community clubs and groups including the activities of two painting groups, the Flower Arranging group, Brownies, the Table Tennis Club, Indoor Bowls Club, the WI, the Evergreens Circle as well as being a rehearsal centre for the Modelski Orchestra. The Village Archive is stored in the Hall and maintained by the History Group.

Substantial storage space is available for groups who want to use the facilities regularly.

There are four rooms for hire in the Village Hall.

The Okell Room

The Okell Room measures 7.5 metres x 5.5 metres, and is well-suited to smaller meetings and functions, comfortably seating up to 60 people. The French doors open out on to a paved courtyard, which is ideal in the summer for receptions.

Main Hall

The Main Hall measures 13 metres x 9 metres and is an airy, pleasant room with a wooden floor. It has seating available for up to 120 people and is an ideal venue for meetings, luncheons and receptions. There is provision for a stage, which can be assembled at the end of the hall on request.

The Committee Room is a small room for 6 people. (See hire costs for more information)

The Kitchen

The kitchen has all the necessary facilities for catering for functions, ranging from preparation of teas and coffees to the use of the five-hob range cooker, which has two ovens and a warming compartment. There is an additional warming cabinet as well as a microwave and refrigerator. Cutlery and china are supplied.
